It would be appropriate, should pfc Manning be convicted of his crimes, to be shown in a public square, blindfolded, and shot by firing squad for the traitor and spy he most certainly is.

Perhaps that would slow down the MFM and the anti-war left a little.

Let Task Force 373 get a hold of him, they know how to deal with terrorist allies. Hundreds, if not thousands have met justice at their hands. Bring 373 to the US under a not communist, fascist, socialist president and they’d make short order of all traitors.

I have yet to see them protest the old USSR or the present-day Russian presence in any foreign lands.

Or China. Or the PRK.

But then, I guess when communists do it, it is a “peoples’ revolution, when the US does it it is capitalist imperialism.

I just find it hard to make that distinction, especially since the stated aim of communism is imperialism, and the US is just trying to level the playing field?

But what would I know? I’m just a dumb country boy without dreams of being in an elitist ruling party, part of the arrogancia.

We need to send the CIA after Assange and let him spend the rest of his life, short as it may be, living in the same sort of fear that he’s condemned many of our Afghan allies to living in.

Better yet–snatch him up and send him, Manning and the leaders of the “we love Manning” movement to rural Afghanistan and drop them off out in the boonies far from any American base and see how they fare with their militant Taliban ideological allies.

Unfortunately, as has been pointed out here numerous times, there is no cure for stupid, especially self-righteous, smug, woefully misguided stupid. These people are anti-American, every last one of them. But they are protected by Freedom of Speech. Are there that many leftover ‘free love’ hippies left rotting out there while living high on the American life?

The above actions WOULD be his just dues but like Jane “Hanoi” Fonda or Al “Take It In The Ear” Franken, he’ll no doubt end up with a career in HollyWeird, the NY Times, or Governor of Minnesota. I would like to know whatever happened to the idea of treason being a hanging offense?
