Well, Al-baby’s a high-end statist, no doubt, but I doubt he wants full-blown state ownership of the means of production (in the name of the people, of course), and especially the abolition of private property; I mean, what would become of his houseboat? 😉

Where have all the flowers gone?

This is just the latest of a series of new LA schools that were later discovered to be sitting on toxic waste sites. We call them “glow in the dark” schools.

LA insists on building these Taj Mahals in spite of a declining public school population that mostly doesn’t speak English. Three of them combined to cost in excess of $1 billion.

If THESE children are our future, we are headed back to the darkest of dark ages.

The $75.5-million Carson-Gore Academy of Environmental Sciences will open Sept. 13 for about 675 students. As he was with Bill Clinton (who has an L.A. middle school named after him), Gore is second on the ticket to Rachel Carson, the late author credited with helping launch the modern environmental movement.

Can we assume that they will be teaching “Ferengi” as a foreign language and that (as a throw back to Al’s Divinity School) failure will be an “option” ??

It is, Old Goat. It’s in L.A., isn’t it? That means that, for all practical purposes, it’s within 3 blocks of a “massage” parlor, 2 blocks of a drug house, in the middle of some gang’s turf, within 4 blocks of a tattoo parlor and well within the confines of the LAUSD, which means it’s in the middle of corruption to begin with.

If libs were really concerned abut “the children,” they’d make sure 90% of school district administrators were fired, about 40% of “teachers” were fired for incompetence, and tax monies spent on education really went to education, not filling the pockets of greedy and corrupt “educators” up front.

Wall Street doesn’t have anything on the education racket in the U.S., especially in CA.
