Beware the racist toddler, revisited

Posted by: Phineas on October 3, 2010 at 3:22 pm

More than two years ago, I wrote about a mind-numbingly offensive UK government program to spot early signs of racism in infants and pre-school children:

Does your three-year old sometimes refuse to play with others? Does he occasionally turn his nose up at new foods? Could it be that, rather than simply being behavior normal to all toddlers, these are early-warning signs that your baby is a racist??

Well, two years and a quarter-million children later, we now know the vast size of this generation of tiny Klan members:

Three-year-olds being labelled bigots by teachers as 250,000 children accused of racism

Teachers are being forced to report children as young as three to the authorities for using alleged ‘racist’ language, it was claimed last night.

Munira Mirza, a senior advisor to London Mayor Boris Johnson, said schools were being made to spy on nursery age youngsters by the Race Relations Act 2000.

More than a quarter of a million children have been accused of racism since it became law, she said.

Writing in Prospect magazine, she said: ‘The more we seek to measure racism, the more it seems to grow.

‘Teachers are now required to report incidents of racist abuse among children as young as three to local authorities, resulting in a massive increase of cases and reinforcing the perception that we need an army of experts to manage race relations from cradle to grave.

‘Does this heightened awareness of racism help to stamp it out? Quite the opposite. It creates a climate of suspicion and anxiety.’

There’s an old saying: “If the only tool you have is a hammer, then every problem looks like a nail.” Convinced that racism is everywhere, these multicultural loons are tarring thousands of young children as little proto-fascists. Are they now to be watched throughout their school years? Counseled against the dark racist thoughts that lurk ever within them? Taught to suspect the culture and the parents who must have instilled these hateful prejudices in them? Why not just take them away from their parents and indoctrinate raise them in community creches?

Maybe, just maybe, if a three-year old doesn’t want to eat curry, it’s because he doesn’t like it, not because he hates Pakistanis.

Dear British educators: WTF??

This is not so surprising when one considers what it’s all about.

These fascist/socialist/statist sadists are seeking to enroll people (including children, toddlers and maybe even babies) as early as possible into “re-education camps” so the processes of both mind control and dumbing down can take place early enough that only Randian misfits will be a bother in the fairly near future.

And the free, added benefit of this program is that, since the children HAD to get the behavior from somewhere, their parents would obviously be the target of a roundup, too.

LOL Such a waste, such stupidity!! Much like enjoying Brussel Sprouts, racism is LEARNED behavior. These children learn these behaviors mostly from left leaning people who practice racism by making life easier for those who are less equal. Or by parents, who were raised by people that were racist. There are many reasons for racism, if the belief by these idiots is the reason is genetics, then it seems to me that would be the easiest to overcome, but oddly enough these fools will only make things worse, as that is what they do. – Lorica

Don’t sweat it, this issue will go away once all teachers are equipped with those spiffy red buttons 10:10 showed us.

“What’s the matter, Jeffy, aren’t you eating?”

    “No, ma’am, I don’t like curry.”

“Oh. Okay, fine, no pressure.” BOOOM!!!!

Just tell him that if he won’t eat curry, he has to eat brussels sprouts…the over-cooked variety, ’cause when they’re properly cooked, they’re really good.

When I was in Gap with my son, who at the time was about 5, a little boy came up to him, pimp walking.. he was no more than 4..he out and out called my son Cracker. I looked at the 20ish year old father and said, ‘and who is the racist here?’

It will be ok if your toddler detests apple pie and meatloaf, the typical American fare. Loathing America (AKA: the land of the free)is a perfectly normal thing. Hating the country that led all others to throw off the shackles of tyranny, outlaw slavery, increased a woman’s rights, and fought for the rights of legal immigrants is a dandy prospect. Be sure to provide plenty of positive reinforcement if your son/daughter should bristle at the sound of the star spangled banner. But should they say they don’t like cous-cous and Cat Stevens (Yusef Islam) you better call the Sesame street thought police.

Well, Yusef Islam did perform a popular Christian hymn before he converted; here’s the YouTube of Cat Stevens performing Morning Has Broken.

Is it OK to not like him ’cause he did a Christian hymn?

What idiots. And they consider themselves educators? Children repeat what they’ve heard and, if they get a reaction, they say it more. I’ll never forget the kid in the neighborhood who found a hockey puck. But his “p” sounded like an “f”. We laughed so hard and he kept repeating it, but then we started calling it “cookie” because we didn’t want his mother to think we’d taught him a bad word.

It’s like the foolish liberal columnist who wrote about not realizing his mother was secretly racist until she got dementia and started using racist slurs. I hope that someone told him that she wasn’t anymore than a person with Tourette’s is when something horrible comes out of his mouth. The brain starts dumping all the trash you’ve ever heard out of your mouth when you get dementia, as anyone who’s ever cared for Alzheimer’s patient can tell you.

Why can’t people be treated with charity instead of this witchhunt mentality?

Dana, it’s okay to not like him for whatever reason you choose. Me, I loath him for being an useful idiot for the Islamic terrorists, but I surely won’t expect anyone else to follow my lead. Feel free to be as smug and superior as you wish, that’s your right until Yusuf Islam’s heroes cut off your head for expressing it. Mr. Islam always claims that he doesn’t support terror, yet he’s one of the smiley faces of Islam that can always be counted upon to solemnly warn us against Islamophobia while standing in front of the smoking remains of Islam’s latest atrocity. He’s one of the mealy mouthed “No true Muslim would do this” crowd. Apparently one becomes an internationally respected man of peace just by a) being Muslim and b) not personally murdering anyone.

On the topic of “Morning Has Broken,” perhaps you might choose to dislike Mr. Islam because the piano accompaniment for his recording was composed and performed by Rick Wakeman, who received neither payment nor credit for his work. To me that’s pretty scummy, but it pales next to his standing up for neolithic cave cult murderers while posing as a man of peace.

I find it fascinating that he became a convert to Islam after his brother gave him a Koran purchased in Jerusalem. How interesting – how many people do you suppose have turned to Christianity after receiving a Bible purchased in Mecca? Sorry, that’s a trick question.

Liberal loon-acy in action. How soon before that ‘model’ program of desensitization and retraining comes to the Maoist states if the current ach-ministration is allowed to contine its Marxist march toward their ‘Utopian’ state of being?

  11. Kate says:

Do these folks in the UK understand how much this sounds like Communist re-education camps? Are they just teaching robots who are programed to do the bidding of their masters? We know from this report who is collecting this information, but do they know who is scrutinizing it and making these “judgment” calls.

Do these so called educators know anything about child development? Isn’t this required in their training? At three years of age children have just discovered there are other little beings like themselves and are going through a remarkable process of socialization that takes years of development. They are developing their own persona….hence, now is the time for BIG BROTHER to begin the indoctrination process.

Be scared…be very scared you idiots in England are not just sliding down a slippery slope–you are on a headlong plummet into communistic mind control.
