Social issues have their place but in the midst of the dire economic situation into which the commiecrats have steered this country, with every man, woman, and child being adversely affected, their importance will seem minor. When that theme becomes the steady drumbeat between now and election day the mere mention of social issues will serve only to create a laugh to momentarily lighten the mood, without garnering a single vote.

The Democrat Convention will have as speakers a radical pro-abortionist, radical Islamist, former disaster Jimmy Carter, misogynist Bill Clinton at the same time America’s job market is collasping, gas prices are rising, food prices are rising, energy costs are rising, the Middle East is about to blow and on top of this Taxmaggedon is before us.

I do not think Democrats will receive that rah-rah roar from the American people like Democrats imagine their convention will be.

– They figure they’ve lost a good proportion of the anti-war crowd, so they’re scrambling to crank up this latest phony war-on-women con that started with the fully staged “surprise” presser with Jug ears the other day, during which the press corp’s questioning was carefully guided into the GOP’s anti-woman narrative once again.

– They figure if they can keep the press occupied with woman-street, then Obama will be able to keep avoiding anything like substative campaigning with all the nasty questions about the economy, healthcare, education, and even the war, particularly as things heat up for Israel and the Iranian threat. With 73 days to go I don’t think there’s enough distractions, even for Obamas gustoppo.

You know if I were Adkin, everytime I was asked about “legitimate rape” I would bring up Tawana Brawley, or the Duke LaCrosse rape case. Neither was legitimate or rape, but both were backed by these double digit IQ, knee jerk reation monkeys. – Lorica
