(note: Welcome to Moderate Voice readers, Back Country Conservative readers, as well as Mark in Mexico readers.)

We are unitedMSNBC is reporting that there has been an “incident” on a bus in the UK … with details to follow. I’ll post them here as they become available. Hopefully if it was an attempted terrorist attack, the person(s) responsible got his butt kicked before he/she could do anything.

Update: Here’s what Fox News has on their site:

The London Underground station was evacuated at 1:25 p.m. Thursday afternoon in London after smoke was seen coming from the train, Sky News has reported.

“The entire area has been closed off,” Simon Marks.

Emergency officials were said to be attending incidents at three stations, the Associated Press has reported.

Police say incidents were reported at Oval, Warren Street and Shepherds Bush Underground stations.

No casualties have been reported.

Wizbang is following this as well.

More updates as they become available.

Here’s the latest from MSNBC as of 9:02 a.m. ET:

Three London Underground stations were evacuated at midday Thursday following reports of incidents, British Transport Police said. The Fire Brigade was investigating a report of smoke at one station.

Police sources told Sky TV that suggestions pointed to some kinds of devices exploding in the stations or on trains, two weeks to the day after bomb attacks killed more than 50 people in the British capital.

An explosion was also reported on a bus in Hackney. Scotland Yard said that some sort of device could have been detonated on the bus, but could not confirm what the incident was, Sky News said.

Police said Warren Street, Shepherds Bush and Oval stations had been evacuated and that the rest of the Underground system was closing down. Emergency services personnel were called to the stations, police said.

London Underground said there were no immediate reports of casualties.

9:53 a.m. ET: London police are confirming there were four explosions.

Tracking back to Michelle Malkin’s post on this as I’m sure she’ll be updating hers regularly as well. Her’s notes that Prime Minister Blair will be holding a news conference at 10 a.m. ET.

10:36 a.m. ET: SkyNews is a good news site to check for updates on this. Looks like these explosions aren’t catastrophic on a more major scale like what happened two weeks ago in London, but it does once again show how easily one could slip on a bus or train with an explosive and possibly injure and/or kill people. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened here yet.

10:55 a.m. ET: Command Post is providing excellent blog coverage of this. TB has spoken, said it fortunately appears there were no casualties.

10:59 a.m. ET: Police have apparently arrested a man who was close by Blair’s residence at 10 Downing St and are searching for a man wearing something with wires on it. The BBC is updating this page regularly with new news.

11:20 a.m. ET: Joe Gandelman provides a good roundup of links and updates.

La Shawn is also staying on top of this with updates.

Lunchtime update: Glenn Reynolds is continually updating this post with the latest.

Afternoon update: Michelle Malkin has started another post on this and is continuing to update .. best post in the blogosphere to catch up on the very latest.
