  1. Evon says:

Tim Russert let that very emotionally delivered, unfounded accusation be aired without any checking of the information. I happened to watched it on ??NBC {cable channel) Sunday evening. Now I know that I am correct to have dropped “Meet the Press” from my viewing list.

  2. Melissa in Texas says:

I watched the interview with my mother (who is 69 years old).
She looked at me, leaned over and whispered…
” In my day, he would have been called a weak sister, sittin’ up there cryin’ “.
    I could not agree more!
Then to discover it was bunk, just makes it worse!

  3. Evon: Unfortunately, that is happening all too often in the media today. Stories being reported that are embellishments or outright lies, and it’s not caught until the ‘damage’ has been done. It makes you wonder how often this happened in the past, before the rise of talk radio and the blogosphere.
