ST on the radio
FYI, yours truly will be interviewed on 97.1 FM KFTK’s Allman and Smash in Morning talk radio show on Tuesday October the 11th at 8:10 AM CT. The show is based in St. Louis, Mo. – if you’re out of listening range but would like to hear it, go here to download their streaming audio player and you’ll be able to hear their show live. I’ve listened to it and really enjoyed it and I hope you will too! I’ll post another reminder closer to the time of the interview. I’m a bit nervous! Being a former talk show host from ages ago, I’m not used to being on the other side of the mike 
Friday update: I also meant to note that I am going to attempt to have the interview recorded somehow so I can upload it so people who won’t be able to tune in can listen to it later. I don’t have the first clue about that stuff so if any of you have any suggestions please let me know .. I’ll also be emailing a few blog friends to get tips from them as well. Thanks!

I’m in the 97.1 local area and listen to these guys every morning on my way home from delivering papers (their first 20 minutes, anyway; on that day I’ll tune in the house radio & catch your interview). If you need an off-air icebreaker before they start your segment, do ask Jamie (Allman) if he ever figured out what caused the pain in his leg. If it still tweaks him by the time you interview, maybe it wasn’t a “running injury” but just a little reminder that he’s getting older. Three words: Longer Warm-Up. (or is that two…) Happens to the best of us.

I got to be on the other side of the mike twice by phone on the old “TalkSpot”, the experiment Bo Snerdley left Rush Limbaugh to run.
