Democrats don’t want you to see their Iraq statements

You know, the statements they have made over the years about the threat we faced from Iraq that they are now accusing the President of “lying” about (no doubt in an effort to pander to their already out of control anti-war faction)?

They only want *Republican* statements on the Iraq war to be examined. Click here to find out the full story. That is one of the types of posts I wish I had written myself! It needs to be read in full. The Democrats should be ashamed of trying to pull this snow job on the American people.

Update: The Wall Street Journal calls the Dems on their lying about the “lies” as well (Hat tip: Mark Noonan at Blogs For Bush)

I love the last paragraph of the Wall Street Journal piece:
The scandal here isn’t what happened before the war. The scandal is that the same Democrats who saw the same intelligence that Mr. Bush saw, who drew the same conclusions, and who voted to go to war are now using the difficulties we’ve encountered in that conflict as an excuse to rewrite history. Are Republicans really going to let them get away with it?

  2. I think Republicans in Congress are not going to let the Dems get away with this.
