Will Arnie grant clemency to Tookie?

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on December 12, 2005 at 9:47 am

Looks like it’s in Arnie’s hands now, as the California Supreme court refused to grant a stay of execution late yesterday to the quadruple murderer. Four courts have upheld his convictions, including the notoriously oddball 9th Circuit. If the Governor doesn’t grant Tookie clemency, Tookie will be executed early Tuesday.

If Arnold is smart, he will let Tookie be Terminated.

    2. Let´s hope he´ll go for the more efficient alternative:
Let him live to tell the youth.

When the state kills it lowers itself
to a thugs level. Justice or god have nuthin to do with it.

      Weltregierung,

You mean, let’s be Politically Correct, run our mouths, and do nothing. After all, Tookie is not going to live and kill in my neighborhood.

    4. Pam says:

The longer the time passes on Arnold’s decision, the more sure I am that Tookie with be having a cocktail just after midnight.

damn… i’ve read many comments today and i really dont understand you ppl, cant you see that he has totally changed, i dont understand CA ppl they really want him dead, that’s really sad… i hope Gov. is more human than y’all
the zero hour iz 9am in poland, i hope ill wake up and read that he wont die

    6. ArizonaTeach says:

He hasn’t changed, polish mayne. He refuses to cooperate with the authorities on any number of issues and refuses to confess the crime he was lawfully convicted of. What has he done to demonstrate change? Writing children’s books and being nominated for a Nobel is not demonstrative of redemption by any stretch of imagination.

It’s not a matter of California people wanting him dead so much as California people wanting there to be rules, and consequences for violating those rules, and no special circumstances because a couple activists have made it their crusade to get a gang-banging, murderous monster off the hook.

    7. PCD says:

Maybe Polish Mayne you’d understand if this were Feliz Dzherzinsky (Excuse my spelling) sentenced to die. Do you have any relatives that died at Palmyra?

    8. Pam says:

How has he changed polish mayne? The only thing that changed about him, since the initial arrest for the murders, is his life expectancy. He has not apologized, nor has he taken responsibility for his actions.
