Democrats.com: Totally Unglued (with screencaps)

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on January 10, 2006 at 9:47 pm

In apparent “retaliation” for the President’s authorization of warrantless wiretaps in order to eavesdrop on conversations between people alleged to have ties to terror, Democrats.com is encouraging its readers to spy …… on the Republican party – and is offering to reimburse readers the costs associated with doing so. I won’t link to the post in question directly from this blog, but you can read all the details about it at Michelle Malkin’s.

Screencaps are below. The first one is the top part of the post, and the second one is the rest of it.

      “Un.be.lievable.”

Duh! you’re not supposed to tell people you’re spying on them.

Time for a little break for you, Andrew. My patience has run out. Try back this weekend. –ST

Bob Fertik is the new Richard Nixon.

Nixon was forced to resign for the very same offense.

    3. omapian says:

The Bush haters acknowledge that anyone with enough money can already “spy” into the private records of citizens. Those without funding can probably hack their way into phone records and many other private records. They have no problem with this and even encourage others to do it.
But they have a problem when government agents examine similar records with the intent to protect the public from terrorists attacks. I think their priorities are seriously misplaced.

    4. - Payback for Watergate?…. *snort* … and people say the Liberaslackers are “slow”…. that only took 36 years…

      - Bang – :o

    5. Baklava says:

      Sounds like McCarthyism to me…

      We’ve come full circle.

      Witchhunts = Democrats.com tactics

    6. shingles says:

      Snore.
You’re just jealous they thought of it first.
(Come on, think of the possibilities…)

I’d be more annoyed about the fact that companies are allowed to sell your phone records in the first place.
To people that are not you.

    7. sanity says:

      Democrats spying?

      No!

      Say it isn’t so……

Though I am very sure Michael Steel can tell you what it is like being on the receiving end of Democrat spying programs.

    8. PCD says:

I’m not surprised by this. Look at Chuckie Schumer and his staff. They practiced Identity theft on MD Lt.Gov. Michael Steele. How many others have they done it to? Clnton perused 900 FBI files on Republicans and fobbed off the blame on a former bar bouncer they hired.

Doesn’t anyone remember Bob Beckel and DNC member/CA Democrat Activist Bob Mulholland trying to blackmail the Electoral College?

The Democrats are dirty, and that is putting it very mildly.

    9. steve says:

Rove has been doing this for years. He learned it from Donald Seggretti who was trained by Cheney and Rumsfeld in Nixon’s Office of Special Assignments(’69-’73). The difference is that Rove is a part of the US government and Democrats.com is a private LLC. Peace

    10. PCD says:

steve, provide proof or take your lie back.

    11. steve says:

Do your own research. If you think someone has lied, look it up! Don’t be lazy and just accept what others feed you. My opinion can be easily distinguished from what I cite as fact. Peace

    12. PCD says:

Thanks steve for showing that you don’t back up what you say because what you say is so whack to begin with.
