Go ‘Canes!

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on May 14, 2006 at 9:44 pm

Congrats to the Carolina Hurricanes, who just soundly defeated the NJ Devils to win the best of seven series in five games :) The ‘Canes looked awesome!

Next up: They play the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL Eastern Conference finals.

Today was a super-gorgeous day here and I was out enjoying it :) Blogging will return to normal tomorrow morning … got some people from our corporate office coming in tomorrow afternoon at work and will be there until Tuesday afternoon. Blogging Tuesday will be light but Monday should be ok in the a.m. and later in the evening.

Consider this an open thread – ya’ll have a good night :)

    Go Sabres!

    Hey canes, stick to NASCAR!!

  2. Boo hiss!!!!!!!! Depressed Devils fan.

Canes played very well, and the Devs looked like they did in the early part of the season. Those PK kills by the Canes in the first destroyed the Devs.

Congratulations. And yes, I will root for the Canes to go all the way. Buffalo will be tough.

I went to a Montreal/Carolina playoff game, and I went to a NJ/Carolina playoff game, and I’ve already got tickets to game 1 of the Buffalo/Carolina game!
Now it’s time to down the Sabres and go on to the Stanley Cup finals!!!!!!

NC Cop, I was hoping the Canadiens might pull it off, but they were beaten hard in the latter half, very cool you managed to catch some games.

Sabres series should be a high flying affair! better the Canes than the Devils, that’s for shizzle lol

May the puck be with you :)>-

Thanks saus!! I’m going to Saturday’s game and I can’t wait!!

Believe it or not I used to live in Jersey so there was some allegience to the Devils, but I have to go with the home team………unless they are playing the N.Y. Rangers.:d

  6. I’m jealous, NC! I swear that next season I WILL be going to some ‘canes games. I think I may put up the ‘canes logo somewhere here on the blog as a show of support :-)
