‘Canes lose game 5

So close. We lost it in OT 4-3.

Game 6 is Saturday night in Edmonton. The ‘Canes need to win one more game. Edmonton would have to win the next two games.

Sigh. :-<

I hate to say it, but that single screw up may have cost the Canes the cup. I have faith and I will cheer them on all the way, but Game 6 will be won by Edmonton. The Canes gave them the momentum and the Oilers are back on home ice where they will NOT allow the visiting team to win the cup. I think we’re looking at a game 7!!!!

  2. I think you’re right, NC. Methinks we’ll be seeing a game 7 – it’ll be played in Raleigh, right?

I’ve been impressed by the fans at RBC for a spot so south, in Edmonton on saturday night it is going to be pandemonium, the city has a history of rioting over hockey win or lose lol.

Going to be a very very accomplished goal for the canes to take the cup in Edmonton! I’m thinking there’s going to be a great game seven in NC if it happens, you can’t ask for more than that, sudden death over the cup!
