Laptop issues – grrr!

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on July 1, 2006 at 12:37 pm

Woke up this morning, lounged, and then got ready to do some pajama blogging when I logged on to find out I was having service issues with Norton Internet Security. For some reason it wasn’t recognizing my service as “active.” After spending an hour trying to figure it out, I had to call Earthlink (I have Norton’s on my laptop through them) and had to get the activation pin.

Sooo … that two hours put me way behind today. I’ve got a birthday party to go to later, and some shopping to do prior to that so I won’t be around to blog today – use this thread (or the weekend open thread) to discuss what’s on your mind. When I get home tonight I’ll try to catch up on blogging.

Have a great Saturday :)

Watch the video’s that Michelle links to and see the stories. See what Arianna’s blog has been up to.

The case against DeLay has all but fallen apart.

Ronnie Earle, the Travis County DA and Texas version of Mike Nifong, is now trying to keep his case on life support long enough to get through the upcoming November elections by indicting a fourth person. This is sure to produce another round of lengthy and expensive hearings ending in another defeat for Earle.

I lived in the “Peoples Republic of Travis County” for four years. The case against DeLay, like Earle’s failed cases against Republican Senator Kay Hutchinson and former Democratic Texas Attorney general Jim Mattox, were simple fits of taxpayer-funded partisan hate. Meanwhile, the city of Austin was a crime-infested hellhole. Never was I so glad to leave a place as I was to leave Austin!

    Moonbat Vs. Moonbats in NJ

How long before the MSM decides it Bush’s fault?

I have had similar problems with Norton Internet Security. Seems that some random generator decides either the program has not been activated or the subscription has expired. I have had to reinstall the program 6 times since Feb. ( and lost numerous hours in the task.)
I gave up on the program.

ST Norton seems more trouble than it worth.

  6. - Mwa… heres a little “developing” story that might give Earle some heart burn eventually, if you havn’t already seen it…..

Oh that kind of laptop issues……:">

Bang: It seems you and I are circling the same buzzards. BTW- What’s your count on the goose egg dhimmi and those native to the blue marble?

I wish we had the time afforded to provide all the rope needed for the donks to complete their statement……and more rope. :-w

  8. - Well Forest, The Left is trying so hard to get on the right side of the WOT, but the rhetoric isn’t working, and the “martyr campaign” by Keller and company isn’t working either, because Bush isn’t biting. The Progressives are painted into a very small corner, and panicky they can’t see a way out.

    - Scared too death of an “October” surprise, and I don’t blame them. Couldn’t happen to a nastier bunch of losers.

    - Bang **==

Thanks, Bang! In Texas there are two types of Democrats:

    (1) Those who have been indicted.

    (2) Those who are just about to be indicted.
