Breaking news via AP:
Seven explosions hit Bombay’s commuter rail network during rush hour Tuesday evening, ripping apart train compartments and reportedly injuring dozens of people, police and Indian media said.
Indian television news channels broadcast video of the wounded sprawled on train tracks and being carried through stations.
The Press Trust of India news agency said six blasts occurred along the city’s commuter rail network, which is among the most crowded in the world.
India’s financial center of Bombay and the capital of New Delhi were reportedly on high alert.
Allah’s on top of it, and posts a link to a Bombay paper that is reporting that at least 15 are dead and 50 are injured.
As Drudge would say, developing ….

I know these terrorists can’t go home and sleep at night. It is impossible. If they didn’t like themselves before they committed these acts of terror, they must really hate themselves after they commit the act. No wonder so many prefer to blow themselves up in the act, rather than live with the guilt of what they have done.
All violence is counter-productive. All war is counter-productive. Christ would not have been a general in anyone’s army. His was a mission of Peace and his condemnation of the use of violence against anyone is clear and not open to debate.
steve, is that you?
Pecker,
I agree with you that violence is destructive. Civilized countries will always need a police force and a military to keep the peace.
steve, is that you?
Sure sounds like it doesn’t it?
OK, who let steve(fn) back in?
steve, didn’t you have fun at Yearly Kos?
- Steve(FN) – God was all about defending thy neighbor as thyself. He even gifted the Isrealites with the Ark of the covenent to carry before them in battle, to show his solidarity with their plight against their enemies.
- One of these days you’ll get past which ever of the scriptures you’ve cherry picked to establish you’re closed minded cultist position. In the words of the old time sage it’s called “enlightenment”. You have as yet to develop to that level of maturity, but there’s always hope.
- My advice too you would be to at least wait until you’re really educated before showing the world you’re obvious ignorance of things religious. Your call Sport. Strength
- Bang
Steve and Pecker are the same person? You could have picked a better name than Pecker.
Yeah, that kind of gave it away, didn’t it Monster?
Let’s stay on topic. This isn’t about steve(?) or the pecker, it’s about violence and the use of force. Remember, you reap what you sow.
I don’t think this is THE steve, but it sure sounds like him!
Well, pecker, as I’ve said to steve. War won this country it’s independence, war stopped fascism, war stopped nazism, and war ended slavery, but I guess you disagree with the American revolution and WW II, right?
We should not have fought the British or the Nazis, right?
It’s a tired argument and it holds no water.
Not to mention, NC Cop, that the longest recorded period of peace and prosperity, over 200 years, that Europe has ever enjoyed came after it was subjugated and conquered by the Roman Empire. The Romans were not panty waists about it, they brutally consolidated their power over Europe by vicious application of the sword, and the result was, as noted, the longest continuous period of peace and prosperity in Europe’s recorded history. A period during which time most of the major cities of Europe were founded, roads were built, medicine and learning and law and order were far more present than during the entire Dark Ages and Middle Ages.
So yeah, war never accomplished anything. I guess pecker also thinks fighting back against attackers is wrong too, just bow down, bend over, and thank them for the abuse you are about to receive.
The world is full of sanctimonius, self important twits isn’t it?
You know those extremely violent Hindus. They probably deserved this bombing. The whole reaping and sowing thing. This is a tragic attack against innocent people and the only thing the lone lefty has to say is they reaped what they sowed. Steve, don’t you think that Christ would have some compassion on these poor people who were just attacked?? Nooo but with you it is all about the judgement. You are a heartless beast who real does need to know who Jesus truly is, not this “god in a box” hypocrasy. – Lorica
Fascism is alive and well in the form of bin Laden. Nazism is a form of fascism by any other name. The Revolutionary War was only made necessary because England was bound and determined to hold onto all of it’s colonies rather then peacefully letting go. WWII was a creation of Pope Benedict XV to destroy the “godless” communnists and socialists. The only “sanctimonius twits” I’ve ever run into were in positions of power who were more then happy to kill someone eles’s son or daughter to make their point or hang onto their stuff. Christ would condemn all violence on all sides but he would not have raised his hands in anger or revenge under any circumstance. Be careful not to kill the messenger.
Refer to the 8:21 comment, take two aspirins and carry on with your spiraling, silent journey, pecker.
Yeah it is time to ignore poster pecker a.k.a. steve. More of the same blah blah blah judge mentality with nothing to back it up. I want my minute back from reading his last post. Good Lord talk about a waste of time. If I could only warn you all prior to reading it. /sigh – Lorica
“WWII was a creation of Pope Benedict XV to destroy the “godless” communnists and socialists.”
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
“The Revolutionary War was only made necessary…..”
Glad to see that you admit that war is necessary at times.
