Having a bit of a hectic morning (drowning in paperwork) … here’s an open thread to discuss the news in the meantime. Hope to be back early this afternoon to blog.

Evening update: Sorry, ya’ll. I’m a bit wiped out tonight … had planned on catching up on some blogging, but that will have to wait until the sun comes up. In the meantime, check out Allah’s thread on the left’s ‘outrage’ over Bush’s “groping” of German chancellor Angela Merkel at the G8. Allah wonders whether or not, after seeing ridiculous nonsense like this, if it’s even worth engaging the left (the type of lefties who are jumping on this ‘story’) anymore.
