The blogosphere is all over the story about a man (identified as Omeed Aziz Popal) who struck 14 people in a hit and run yesterday in San Francisco nearby a Jewish community center.
I’ve not seen anything written about this yet that would lead me to believe it’s terror-related, but the news is still developing, so we’ll see.
Check this post and this one for the most comprehensive coverage.

Here’s a question: Are police officers in SF and other cities cautioned by the local governments to downplay, ignore, or pooh-pooh any terrorist-sounding comments made by suspects? I ask because it sure seems like they go through all sorts of contortions to distance the suspected perps from any terrorist affiliations or actions.
“We have no evidence that this is terrorist related.”
NC Cop, any ideas?

“We have no evidence that this is terrorist related.”
Perhaps it needs to be reversed…..
“We have no evidence that this ISN’T terrorist related.”

Reasons! Rights! Reactions! Coming soon to a theatre near you. Call it the tri-pile crown of goobers to the rescue, when the clots of thug huggers gather at ought to be his memorial service, not his trial.
I’ve said before that they’ll attack the softest targets first. San fran freakshow is nothing, if not soft. If you were to put together any two of the witless targets stumbling around those streets, you couldn’t even build a half wit. I pity those living there who are forced to abide by what appears to a moronic mob rule.

I read he was upset, seems he got married in Pakestan or somewhere in the middle east and she is still there waiting on paper work, so its a ligit excuse to get in your car and mow down as many Americans as you can, but hell no, it is not terror related, nothing ever is that these muslims do, remember, we shouldn’t racial profile.

A few years back, a white supremist wanna-be drove around shooting people of color or who were foreign looking. One of the dead was Ricky Birdsong. I don’t recall the MSM having too much trouble nailing that as a racially motivated crime. How does this event differ?
