If it weren’t for our defense the score wouldn’t have even been that close.
Here are other scores from around the league.
BTW, bummer that James Brown is no longer with Fox. Guess CBS offered him a better deal. The new guy (Joe Buck) will take some getting used to.

Welcome to the Buccaneers’ season, ST. Also, my Eagles lost at the end to the Giants.
Sorry benning, but I was cheering for my Giants!!!
I could not believe that game ended the way it did.
Watching the Panthers give that game away was painful.
well, you guys are sans one Steve Smith, so I wouldn’t sweat it too much. Let him rest his hammy for a week or so and you guys should be back on the Superbowl path.
..a path that leads to the Bears, and we’ll win the match this time!
“…you guys are sans one Steve Smith, so I wouldn’t sweat it too much.”
Quite true. And silly gadget plays don’t help either. Yes. They lost. As a Bear fan, it was most distressing. So we play the Vikes next week and it would have been better for them to have a loss on their record. They aren’t that good.
JB actually started at CBS, and moved to Fox. He;s basically going home.
Joe Buck is OK. But after watching Curt Menefee take over after the pregame he is the one who should have had the job.
Go Bearssss!
I missed the Packer game. Maybe GOD is merciful after all. I’d probably be in a psychward with the way they play.
I’m still mad at Ted Thompson for not resigning Ryan Longwell. Look at how he wrecked the Panthers Sunday. Nor will I foregive Thompson for letting Mike Wahle get away either!!!!
Well, I’m a Raiders fan, and they haven’t even scored a touchdown yet — after two games.
Dana – The Chargers have played two games and they’ve given up exactly one touchdown in the final three minutes of yesterdays game. Aparently the defense thinks the name of the game is “sack the quarterback-ball”. Yesterdays Shalacking of the Titans was blacked out, since it was a home game, but in reading the reviews today it seems that they can do no wrong. Chack back with me when we’re at around game 8 or so into the season, and we’ll see. I’ve been down this path too many times before. Think 1994. League champions, and SF dismantled them so badly in the Superbowl I felt ashamed to admit where I live. LaDanian Tomlinson needs to stay healthy for starters, and the “border patrol” defense needs a catchey moniker. The schedule gets decidedly tougher after a by-week in Baltimore. So no celebrating til’ the fat lady sings. In the mean time, the Padre’s have slipped nack into first place for the moment, but no one here thinks it will last for more than the next game.
