I’m glad you posted this, because I just saw it on Yahoo. What the hell is this supposed to mean? Did the press print “American casualties surpasses those killed at Pearl Harbor” back during WW II. Someone tell me of what use is the information when it is presented this way. I am so disgusted with the media.

I think a, long time from now, there will be a truly independent and objective study into how the media has “presented” the facts during the Iraq war as well as all of Bush’s administration and they will be exposed for how they have tried to manipulate public opinion rather than report it.

We can only hope, NC. This scorecard reporting of the war cheapens the sacrifices made by those who fight and also by those who died on 9/11. Sickening. We must resign ourselves to the fact that some just WON’T get it.

I think they should post a sub head line below this one that reads:

“OR ONE WEEK OF HOMICIDES IN NY AND WASHINGTON DC”

These nutjobs wouldn’t know the truth if it came up and kicked them between the legs. Lowlifes – Lorica (I need a vacation) :o)

“Revised calculations in August 1944 showed D-Day losses of 1,259 including 156 known killed and 756 missing, presumed captured or killed.” Cross-Channel Attack link
Yet they went on. Why? To defeat a tyrant. Now we are being told to let tyrants win?

Aussie Treasurer Peter Costello has defended Pope Benedict XVI over his controversial comments on Islam, saying the violent reaction was about the stifling of free speech.”
    MSM will not like this.
