  1. Let us not Forget Hillary

Remember, this is a woman who may run for presidency in 2008. She and the any other Democrat you have ever heard refer to “Common Good” is referring to a communist idea direct from the communist manifesto…. we fight communism in the world every day…

  3. Kerry Finally Apologizes (updated)

    From his website:
    Statement of Senator John Kerry

As a combat veteran, I want to make it clear to anyone in uniform and to their loved ones: my poorly stated joke at a rally was not about, and never intended to refer to any troop.

  1. From the Imus appearance this morning, approx. 6:40 in…

    … the quotable Kerry:

“John McCain says we oughta send another hundred thousand troops over there. First of all, we don’t have another hundred thousand troops. Secondly, uh, if you send them over there, uh, it’s going to do exactly what’s already happenned, which is attract more terrorists, more jihadists.

“Our own generals are telling us that it’s the numbers of troops that are the problem and the fact is that that’s what’s adding to the number of terrorists in the world.”

I see, so it’s the U.S. military that is the problem. There are simply too many of them. And this creates terrorists and jihadists.

  2. That Imus thing was classic Kerry. There were not enough troops before there were too many. =))

  3. Baklava thread! WOO HOO!

    Check this article out:

    In it:

Many are praising these higher tax revenues as proof that the 2003 tax rate reductions have been successful. Indeed, lower tax rates on work, capital gains, and dividends have boosted economic activity. This expansion of economic activity has created more taxable income, leading to more revenue for government—what economists call a Laffer Curve effect. Tax revenues in 2006 were about $40 billion higher than Congressional Budget Office projections in January 2003—before the tax cut was enacted.

    ANd this gem:

Spending is the problem, not deficits. America’s economic health, today and in the future, relies in part on keeping government from becoming an even bigger burden. This is a huge challenge since the future spending explosion from entitlement programs will make recent spending increases seem paltry. Sole focus on the deficit can induce a sense of complacency about the threat of big government. A good example is Sweden. That nation has a budget surplus, but since taxes and spending consume more than 50 percent of GDP, the economy is weak, unemployment is high, and the average Swede has less than 50 percent as much disposable income as the average American.

  4. WHAT?!?! I thought the Dems were the ones saying that we should send MORE troops over there to quell the violence?

Does anyone on that side believe or stand for anything? Or is it just that they will do and say whatever they have to so that they can get their power back.

  5. On a lighter side:

A duck walks into a drug store, goes up to the pharmacy and says “Gimmie a chapstick, and put it on my bill!”.

Thank you, thank you!!! I’ll be here all weekend! The 7 o’clock show is completely different than the 10. Thank you!!!

  6. A man was walking down the street on Halloween, and heard this weird stomping and creaking behind him. He cautiously turned and looked, and was horrified to see a casket lurching down the road after him, following him. He started walking faster, but the casket still kept up with him, it’s lid slamming open and shut in an ominous manner. He began to run, but the casket just got faster and louder, bang, bang, bang, right after him! He ran into his house, slamming the front door, but the casket shattered the door as it slammed into his house and began to chase him up the stairs towards the bathroom he ran into the bathroom, looking for something, anything to defend himself with, but there was only a bottle of cough syrup on the counter. In desperation, he threw it at the casket, and you know what?

    The coffin stopped!:d

  8. Sev: I almost sent you that this AM! HAAA!

Christoph: As you know doubt are aware, that kind of mentality is part and parcel to the grand delusion and the Skerry’s speaking for the dhimmicrats. They just want us to share in their misery and due to their bankrupt abilities, pay for it with our blood.

What’s odd is if these incredulous morons actually believe that, then if they would simply go away, where would those of us not transfixed in their supernatural trance be? Quantum Physics anyone……….

  9. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have this little tidbit courtesy of HotAir:

UN holds Internet summit; no Internet access available

You’d think that of all places that should have speedy and reliable Internet access, a United Nations summit on the Internet would be high on the list.

Not quite. The organizers of the summit, held at a luxury resort hotel on the Athenian Riveria not far from the city center, couldn’t even provide a working Internet connection.

The wireless connection in the main conference hall appeared briefly before dying and leaving attendees bereft of the Net on Monday. Trying to connect to the base station yielded only a “could not connect to the network” error.

It was no better on Tuesday — by that time, the conference organizers apparently gave up and took the connection offline completely.

Priceless, and these are the people who want to wrest control of the Internet from the evil capitalists of the US. Yeah, right.

  12. Everyone here (all of us being members of the vast Right Wing Conspiracy) understand that in fact Kerry had been possessed using Rove’s cutting edge technology so the Democrats could have their election sabotaged right? Rove is behind this whole thing. If you peel back the Frankenstein face, and the slack jaw, you’ll find the cold dead stare and thinning hair of Karl Rove.

Can’t you see it!! It’s the Republicans, it’s always been the Republicans.

Comment by The Stout Republican @ 11/1/2006 - 7:37 pm

  13. If Karl Rove was using Kerry as a puppet he’d have had to have his hand up….oh geez, that doesn’t bear thinking about! There’s an image it’ll take days to get out of my mind. :((

  14. Impossible Sev, Kerry’s head is fully implanted in that area, there’s no room for Rove’s hand!!!!

  16. The NY Times fires off its October (make that November) surprise.

Guess what the MSM airheads will be chattering about this weekend? Unless a better October/November surprise comes along, that is. And it will be weeks or months later when we find out that the Times engaged in cherry-picking the evidence, and left out information damaging to the Democrats’ cause.
