Wednesday Open thread
There’s nothing like Christmas music from the Carpenters to help mellow you out after having a trying day (as I’ve had). The audio track on this is a little different than the one you usually hear on the radio – I found that version at YouTube, but the sound quality on it wasn’t very good. You can hear Karen’s voice and the music very clearly on this one. Enjoy.

Interesting that you bring this up.
It is kind of representative how the MSM has been avoiding John Edwards as a viable 2008 Candidate also.
They choose to vent Clinton and Obama.
I like the way John Edwards has created his own Reality YouTube and is calling it Webisode #1 the Plane Truth:

Sis, thanks for this song. I loved the Carpenter’s and this song by Karen is my favorite Christmas song.
She had such a pretty voice and I miss her talent.

Karen Carpenter was one of the most talented singers ever. Her voice was so wonderful and had such strength to it. She sings my sentiment to ST quite well.
