Captain Ed’s wife, better known to his readers as “The First Mate”, will be having kidney transplant surgery tomorrow. Please keep them and their family in your prayers for a successful surgery and for a full recovery for Mrs. Captain.

OMG!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers 1st Mate!!! I pray that the doctor’s hands are steady, and his mind has a focus and clarity that could only come from God. That your immune system is opperating at a rate higher than normal, and that no infection will find a home in the incisions or your recovering body. I pray that the new kidney is a PERFECT match, and that your body will accept it as if it was part of your original body. I pray for peace and comfort while you go thru this, and that you will find a time of rest before, after and during this time. I pray that the Lord God would see to your every need, and that Jesus would be your constant companion in this time. I pray in faith and knowledge that He is who He said He was, and I pray in His name, Jesus. See this thru for your glory Lord. - Lorica
