Can’t say as I disagree with this at all! You can read the entire column here.

It’s one thing to want to ‘get along’ in the ’spirit of bipartisanship’, but dangit, being too nice means compromising too much and too many of our core principles have been compromised for the sake of ‘wanting to get along’ and trying to please the press by the President. IMO, it’s not wrong to be a partisan - if you believe in something, stick to it and by all means do not apologize for it.

And BTW, speaking of Lorie, happy bday to both her and another cool NC lady blogger: Mary Katharine Ham. They both turned a year older Thursday. Here’s to many more <:-p

  1. Absolutely!!! GW wouldn’t have half the problems he has if it wasn’t for the new tone. Look at the most recent scandal, the AG firings, If GW would have just done it right after he was elected, this would of had little to no consequences. Now it is a big toodoo. All I want to know is how do you get along with people who only want their way?? All the new tone has done is embolden the opposition to a point where we look stupid and foolish. And I for one am sick of it. - Lorica
