Check out this video (an 11 second ad runs before it) that talks about the controversy surrounding a Chicago law firm’s decison to run a suggestive billboard ad containing the slogan “Life is short. Get a divorce.”
The law firm, of course, specializes in divorce.

What do you get when you cross a pig with a lawyer???
Nothing, there’s some things even a pig won’t do!!!!!
I sincerely wish that they’d never allowed lawyers to advertise.
john edwards wants to be our next President — how scary is that.!!!!
What’s the difference between a lawyer and a hooker? A hooker will stop screwing you when you’re dead.
Years ago – early 80’s – a lawyer in Concord, N.H., had this ad: “Fight inflation. File bankruptcy.” He did get in a bit of trouble with the Bar Assn. there. He didn’t get disbarred – he’s still working – he never made “the big time.”
ROM 3:13 “Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,” “The poison of asps is under their lips”;
This lawyer who said their firm wasn’t promoting divorce,then what were they promoting sex? This is all the work of satan and one day we will all answer for our actions and our words.
I really hate these evil days we are living in but thank God it will come to an end. Your work is short lived.
I AGREE! Most U.S. marriages end in divorce after a long dysfunctional relationship. I guess the truth hurts….
As for the models, NOT true. Middle aged divorcees are clueless. They are either still looking for the perfect (winkle free) mate, or still act like they are married.

I am a lawyer, and I have been married for 16 years. I practice divorce law, but I don’t encourage divorce. Every person is different, as is every lawyer. Please be careful not to generalize too much.
