Blogosphere notes and misc. links

—- Happy five year anniversary, Powerline! Here’s to many more :)

—- Blogger Jack Lewis and his family have fallen on some hard times. Keep them in your prayers, and hit his donation button on the top left of the page if you’re so inclined. They could use the help.

—- I wrote last week about the story of Bill Richardson’s multi-gaffed story of an encounter he alleges happened between himself and the mother of a fallen Marine. Today we find out the governor will no longer be referencing that Marine – Lance Cpl. Aaron Austin – out of respect for Austion’s mother. The blogosophere is buzzing about the story of Richardsons multiple faux pas. Check out some of those posts here.

—- AJ Strata updates us on Pat Fitzgerald and what he’s trying to do regarding the sentencing of Scooter Libby, who was found guilty of perjury, obstruction of justice, and making false statements a couple of months ago in the pLamegate drama. In a nutshell, Fitz is trying to punish Libby for the crime of ‘outing’ a covert agent – something you’ll recall no one has been found guilty of.

—- To say this is disturbing would be an understatement.

—- Will this happen here one day? It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it did.

—- Last but not least: Hogzilla 2?
