Critical reports on the Iraq war have been released and/or leaked. Petraeus’ recommendations will be forthcoming next week. War protests and counter protests will be held in DC over the course of the next two weeks. Michelle Malkin has the details here.

To add to her links, in case you’re interested, if you’re a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and/or Iraq, and would like to join the Vets For Freedom in their march on Washington September 17th and 18th in order to tell Congress to support winning the war in Iraq, go here to find out how. Harry Reid, and other cut and run Democrats, will you be listening?

And speaking of critical reports, Frederick Kagen at the Weekly Standard examines the much-discussed GAO report and finds it lacking. Make sure to read that link in full.

  1. So let me guess. The dems will say that the progress isn’t good enough, and it’s too late to try and change now. Pretty much the same stuff they have been saying since 2004.

The anti-war circle will use the focus on Iraq to stage some more of their wonderfully informative protests. Cindy Sheehan will crawl out from under her rock and say the president is a nazi war criminal.

    Did I leave anything out?

  2. NC Cop, there will also be the usual “No blood for oil” nonsense, and I’ll bet you’ll hear at least one or two allegations of atrocities - committed by our troops, of course, not by AQ.

Oh, and a few days later it’ll come to light that the accusations were false. And tommy from nyc will be on here blaming Bush, regardless of that.

  3. there will also be the usual “No blood for oil” nonsense,

That reminds me, weren’t there these same nutcases screaming this garbage during the first Gulf War in 1991? You think they could come up with something new after more than fifteen years.
