The 2-2 Panthers are battling the 0-3 New Orleans Saints today.
The Panthers are playing again today without starting QB Jake Delhomme, who is still hampered by an elbow injury.
Currently, Carolina is in the lead 3-0 thanks to a John Kasay field goal.
Another game I have my eye on today is the Jets at the Giants. I know there are Jets fans and Giants fans who read this blog, and I’m interested in seeing their opinions on who will win this New York rivalry game
Update: John Kasay saves the day for the Panthers by kicking a 52 yard field goal in the closing seconds of the game, edging the Panthers up 16-13. And ST reader NC Cop’s Giants beat ST reader Leslie’s Jets 35-24.

Since I’ve got Lions/Redskins for my Fox game, and I don’t have the NFL Direct Ticket, I’ll take the updates on the Panthers/Aints.
I can’t wait until tonight; the Packers will complete the Chicago Nightmare.
***GO PANTERS! ***

I root for both teams when they aren’t playing one another. But when it’s head to head, I’m rooting for the Green. Let’s GO Jets!
(I guess it started back there with Namath.)
Go Giants!!!! The G-men!!!!
The Rangers lost last night and the Yankees are one game away from elimination. Will someone PLEASE give me something to cheer about, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NC Cop: The Yankees’ mothers dress them funny.
How’s that?
Go, Buccaneers!
Houston defeats Miami on a last minute field goal – 57 yards! – to win 22 – 19. The Texans are tough!
Alright, that’s it! A line has been crossed!
I’m tellin’ S.T.!!!!!
Heheheeee!
Ghack! The Giants must have cheated.
Pay no attention to the man on the sidelines aiming a very large camera at your defensive coordinator. He’s shooting for a commercial………really……I swear!!
NC Cop, you could have it worse. I had to watch the Flyers all last season, and they might not be too much better this year.
GWR: Don’t say that! Noooooo!
Go, Flyers, go!
Steveegg,
Chicago Nightmare is right. Who made the teams switch uniforms at the half???
WHAT. AN. ENDING!!!!
Cowboys did everything possible to give away the game and still win at the final gun!!
GWR…crazy ending…the whole time I was thinking that the Bulls should be farther ahead, that thier lead wasn’t safe. It wasn’t.
