It’s the battle of the two 1995 expansion teams. Vinny has gotten the nod to start today.
Jacksonville’s got an impressive 8-4 record, while the Cats are at a dismal 5-7, with playoff hopes all but gone. The Panthers looked good last Sunday, but it was against the 49ers, one of the few teams in the NFL who are actually worse than we are.
Prediction time: Will this be the week that the Patriots lose? They’re playing on their home turf at 4:15 against the 9-3 Steelers
Update: It was an ugly day for the Cats, as they lost to the Jags 37-6.

::WHEW::
Cowboys win….but wins like this are not good for my ticker!!
I’ll take a nice throttling any day (Green Bay 38, Oakland 7).
Unfortunately, I think that choke by the Lion cubs is finally going to cost Matt Millen his job.
As for the Pitt/NE game, I took the Steelers for the 1-point upset special in the pick’em pool I’m in.
At least the Eagles lost!
Vikings taking the 49ers to the woodshed right now.
Amen to that!!!
Sorry, Dana, but you knew Favre wasn’t going to have 2 horrible games in a row.
Nice to see the Pack has a rusher. I think the Giants are kicking themselves for trading Grant and only getting a 6th for him.
