Prayers go out to Tim Blair (TUE PM UPDATE: “NO SPREAD OF THE MALIGNANCY”)

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on January 14, 2008 at 10:41 pm

Awesome Aussie blogger Tim Blair announced on his blog today that he has cancer, and he is having “major abdominal surgery” next week.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

(Thanks to ST Aussie reader stackja for the heads up)

Tue PM Update: Thanks to ST reader stackja again for pointing out that TB had updated his post this morning to note the following:

Results of Monday’s CAT scan are in. There is no spread of the malignancy; zip, zero, zilch. It’s entirely localised. Medical science may disagree, but I think credit should go to readers and fellow bloggers. Your thoughts and prayers have eerie powers.

Massive thanks to all.

Wonderful!

Without Tim getting specific, I think I know what he has and I went through it. I had my entire large intestine removed, and it is a genetic thing with my family. Wish I could talk to him. It helps to talk to someone who has been through it.

Praise God, this is amazingly good news. I will still be praying for the surgery, that the Lord guide the surgeon’s hand, and that all things go well with through the whole surgery. – Lorica
