House Democrats, ACLU put politics ahead of our national security

The Protect America Act expires today – and the ACLU couldn’t be happier.

Of course, it didn’t have to be this way – the debate has been ongoing on this issue for more than six months, but in the two days leading up to its expiration, Democrats in the House decided other things were more important than our national security – like issuing contempt citations for Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten … and Nancy Pelosi’s daughter’s wedding.
