RIP Dean Barnett

This is such sad, sad news.

Barnett, who suffered from cystic fibrosis, was one of a kind. I didn’t know him online, but I linked to what he wrote frequently. He was tireless and fearless – and had a great sense of humor. He’ll be missed by a lot of people. Hugh Hewitt has a great tribute posted to Dean here.

He was 41.

    Oh no…I’ve had too much of this in my personal life lately…and now Dean? He was smart and a joy to listen to in discussing the issues. He probably loved golf more than I do, if that’s possible :) Silly a game as golf is, it teaches you three valuable lessons…self-reliance, determination and honesty. Dean was an example both of those. God take him home and watch over all those he left behind.o:-)
