NYT outdoes itself this weekend

The Obama Love continues on the pages of the NYT, with one piece on how you can be “cool” like Barack Obama, and the other one, written by Tom Friednman, on how – get this – Obama and the Dems could shore up their national security creds by “salvaging something positive” from the war in Iraq. Bob Owens lays the verbal smackdown on the Times here.

Another day in the life of the “newspaper of record” …

  1. NC Cop says:

Salvage something positive? Where have these geniuses been for the last year?!??!

Need I remind Friedman that if it were up to Obama and his ilk, innocent men, women, and children would still be dying in Iraq, Saddam would be finding a way to get around the sanctions just like he did the oil embargo, and he would be pursuing his goal of obtaining a nuclear weapon.

The “chance” that Friedman speaks about is because of people like President Bush and John McCain who supported the surge when it was political suicide to do so.

It’s ok, though. President Obama will have plenty to deal with when he’s in charge. Surging pirate attacks of the coast of Somalia, the Russian bear awakening from a looooooong slumber, a nuclear armed Iran, and a Venezuelan thug who is embracing Russia, Cuba, and N. Korea.

Ah yes, I can’t wait for our “respect” to be rebuilt under an Obama Administration.

I’m not sure which language to learn first, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic.

  2. Sounds like just too much…:-?
