Are you?

I don’t feel lifted. I’m bummed. I can’t get past the shocking difference eight years make. So many “finally” love, respect and support our president of the United States. What about the last eight years? It’s mind boggling. However, I am very proud to be one of many who will never spew such hatred for President Obama as so many have toward President Bush.

THIS is the speech CNN wants to engrave into marble?!??!
    This is cliche after cliche!!

    Oh my Lord.

  3. Tom TB says:

He made a factual error from the beginning when he said “Fourty four Americans have now taken the Presidential oath”. Grover Cleveland was the same American when he was elected before Harrison, and after Harrison!

  4. LOL Tom – David Axelrod must not have caught that little faux pas ;)

  5. Lorica says:

I think I heard the poet use the word “Hopeiness”!!! ;)) – Lorica

I feel like I responded to a spam e-mail with private information. How do you undo send?

  7. Sal says:

I feel somewhat despondent. Obama is now my President, and out of respect for our Constitution, our nation, and the office, I salute him.

That doesn’t mean I have to agree with him. In fact, I’ll oppose his Socialist Liberal Policies with everything I have.

  8. CT, I’m not following what you’re talking about … shoot me an email and I’ll see if I can help.

  9. DavidL says:

I’ll do my part. I’ll respect Barack Obama just as much as Mrs. Pelosi will.

  10. CT says:

Never mind ST. I guess it was a bad joke to begin with :)

  11. NC Cop says:

The media’s “job” of making an Obama presidency succeed has already started. They are already making excuses for his “somber” inaugurational address.

Barack Obama’s Inaugural Address: Humility, Gratitude, Sacrifice

That he was willing to sound so somber on his day of celebration tells us many things at once. At a time of scarcity, do not waste opportunities. When the world is watching and willing to follow, tell them where you want to take them. And above all tell the truth.

Are you freaking kidding me? Journalism in this country is over and has been replaced with a propoganda like “reporting” that is meant to do nothing but paint Obama in the best light possible. I guess they need that bailout so they are being kind to their future boss.

  12. Pompey says:

Here are the ground rules for a least the next four years:
1)Obama will never be wrong so he will never have to admit being wrong like was demanded of Bush. If you don’t belive it the NY Times and Wash.Post will back me up on this.
2)Too much critism of this president will get you tagged racist. This card will be played by the left for one simple reason…it works!

    Sleep well.

I didn’t have a problem with the race-baiting. If whites want to embrace rightwing values, that’s fine by me. :)
