Buh bye, Blago

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on January 29, 2009 at 6:45 pm

This isn’t the end of corrupt politics in Illinois, but it does mean one corruptocrat won’t get a chance to try again.

Sing it with me, now: “Nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey, hey, hey …”

Ben Smith’s got video of highlights and lowlights today from Blago’s impassioned plea to the Illinois State Senate.

First good news I’ve had all year. :d

The arrogance of this SOB is amazing. He didn’t even attend all of his own trial, then he comes on all high and mighty today talking about how wonderful he is.

    Good riddance.

Yes I agree this is good news. Blogo has been corrupt since day 1. Pat Quinn is a much better man. – Lorica

  3. Honestly, I’m almost sad to see him go. Not that I think he was doing the people of Illinois any good, but he sure did put on a good show, and he did a good job of making the Dems look pretty silly in the process.

By the way, I’ve just started a new blog that will be highlighting the dangerous advances of the secular progressive movement (pro-gay “rights”, pro-abortion, anti-religious freedoms, etc).

We’re looking to build a solid group of conservatives who’ll frequent our site regularly and contribute to some good discussions. The site gets updated daily with breaking news, so you’ll want to check back often, or you can just sign up for our News Feed.

If you’ll add us to your blogroll we’ll gladly add you to ours. Our blog is called Religion and Morality.

    Thanks!
