I’m very disappointed in your support for this misnamed “stimulus” bill. The CBO has determined that only about 10% of this bill will be spent this year, demonstrating the lack of urgency for passage. Furthermore, the CBO has determined that this bill will hurt growth in the longer run.

The current economic situation is not a “disaster in the making.” The CBO predicts that the current recession will end this year. Two previous recessions were much more serious in terms of GDP decline, unemployment, and inflation.

I urge you to reconsider your support for this bill. Unless you do, you will be remembered by all Republicans as a traitor to good government.

Arlen Spector just goes to show, you don’t have to be able to do math in take over $2,000 from every man, woman, and child in the United States and waste it all in one spending bill.

I demand that you vote NAY on the current ‘stimulus’ package bill. This bill, if enacted, will severely infringe on the medical care of folks depending on Medicare. In addition, it will severely affect the constitutional rights of the People of this great country.

By the way, When were you going to tell the People of your constituency about all of the items buried in this ‘stimulus’ package that have nothing whatsoever to do with the intended stimulus?

Since it appears that you have totally lost touch with the People whom you are supposed to serve, I would further demand that you submit your resignation from the Senate forthwith so that the People of this State can elect a Senator that will work for them and not for his/her own agenda.
