This is interesting, and if someone already posted this I apologize:

Frisco police union accuses Ayers of 1970 bombing

A San Francisco police union has accused former domestic terrorist William Ayers, co-founder of the Weather Underground, and his wife in a 1970 bombing that killed one sergeant, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

So what do you think? I’m not sure yet. I’ll wait until I hear all the evidence, but the timing is interssting.

If they do prove it, this S.O.B. will finally get what he deserves.

  2. The Weather Underground’s (and hence Ayerss and Dohrn’s) involvement in that bombing has long been known, and was revisited during the campaign. I read about this yesterday and wondered why the police union is making these accusations now. It’s not like they can file charges this far afterward and make them stick on just Gratwohl’s testimony, can they?

Regardless, it’s another reminder that PBO is very comfortable with some very unsavory people.

As we all know, there’s no statute of limitations involving murder. The trouble would be proving that it was Ayers/Dohrn’s organization that planted the bomb, since there were other crazies operating at the time. They were almost always collegiate children of upper middle-class parents, and the female members could easily pass for executive secretaries as they planted devices in buildings.

Nothing confirmed yet, but if it turns out to be true, this should be interesting to see how Obama handles it:

U.S. Jet Shoots Down Iranian Drone Over Iraq

An American fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone as it was flying over Iraq, U.S. military sources in Baghdad tell Danger Room.

So far no other sources are reporting it, so we’ll see.
