“Fair and balanced” – NYT style
Hard to believe that the same news outlet that today published the news that Obama’s DNI confirmed with the administration last week that enhanced interrogation techniques “did produce significant information that helped the nation in its struggle with terrorists” is the same one that also published on the same day an article titled, “In Adopting Harsh Tactics, No Inquiry Into Their Past Use”, right?
Well, not if you know it was the NYT who did so. You see, because they want you to know that even though the interrogation techniques yielded information critical to stop terrorist attacks, that some of the tactics were considered “brutal” when used by despotic regimes, so, you know, that must make us no better than – well, you know who.
You can always trust that anytime the NYT prints anything remotely positive about the Bush admnistration, they’ll always – always – counter it with something that “balances” things out for their majority liberal readership.
Just sayin’.

NYT will take its liberal bias to the grave. No bail out here though… Obama heard the Tea Party message even though He wants to ignore it.
Obama can’t be bothered with facts anyway. However, prosecuting those that kept us safe after 9/11 is a sure way to invite another attack. Obama is putting us all at risk.
The majority of the Media will continue this one-sided love affair of the Obama Admin. It would not be popular to voice disagreement with the “Chosen”, considering the Hit the Newpapers are taking (subcription wise), they made need a handout from the Taxpayer to continue their bias!

When Obama does all these things, does he garner any information that coujld be useful in protecting us??
