So what if Obama’s proposed CAFE standards will kill an estimated 2,000 Americans a year? As long as it helps ’save’ the environment …
Michelle Malkin has much more on the human costs of raising CAFE standards, as well as the monetary costs of such a proposal.
This is nothing more than standard Democrat “feel-good” legislation that will hurt America much more than it will “help” her.
Ah – it’s so refreshing to have the “smartest team ever assembled in DC” running things in Washington.

Since this is done to “save” gas/oil, whatever happened to “No Blood For Oil” and all that?
What’s good for our fearless leader is good for us, right? We should all drive around in an approximation of the Presidential limosine, as our lives and our children are as valuable as the Obama’s, in the socialist paradise that they are trying to create. I’ve spent most of my life in the automotive field, and I wouldn’t trust Barry O’Bama to change my spark plug!
“change a spark plug”…I wonder if Obama could give a 7th-grade-level explanation for how a car engine works…betting not. Same of 80% of Congresspeople and Cabinet officers.
It’s dangerous to have our politics so completely dominated by people for whom any form of technology..even stuff that was understood by the typical hot-rodder of 30 years ago…is a total black magic.
