Moments in “supreme awesomeness”

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on September 3, 2009 at 12:13 am

“Supreme awesomeness” is how blogger Moe Lane describes the following video of centrist blogger Megan McCardle picking apart a broadbrush argument being made by liberal blogger Michelle Goldberg on the issue of whether or not the conservatives who have called President Obama various names like “fascist” and who openly carry guns to town hall meetings are responsible for inspiring death threats against Obama.

The video is a little over a minute long, and the look on Goldberg’s face as she realizes she has no real comeback to McCardle’s counter-argument is absolutely priceless.

Looks like someone’s just had a wake-up call ;))

Make sure to show that video to any liberal friends or acquaintances you have who try to make bogus argument’s similar to Goldberg’s. And while you’re at it, make sure you have some smelling salts handy in the event that they, too, get that stunned look on their faces.

It seems to me that it is the libs that would love to see BHO dead. That would allow them to turn him into a “black JFK”. Conservatives, and Liberitarians want him to live a long full life. Yes, there are those who have brought guns to rallies as part of both protests, and to affirm our rights and liberties, but many of us realize that BHO is one of the best things going for us right now. BHO, Pelosi, Reid, Rangel, Murtha, and the rest of Corrupticrats have started to wake up the squishy middle, that have been complacent for too long.

It’s pointless to argue with a lefty – they’re impervious to facts or logic. Everything’s value is based solely upon emotion and their feelings. How else to explain their implacable fixation on policies that have failed again and again over the past century, and have consistently increased misery and hardship?

What is true doesn’t matter. They have a pathetic need to be better than anyone else, and therefore their opponents are not intelligent persons of integrity with whom they disagree, they’re un-American racist Nazi teabagger Neanderthals. All those years of public shrieking that they were being suppressed and that their motives and patriotism were being impugned, and this is how they act when in possession of the bully pulpit.

It’d be comical if they weren’t convinced that this is the time for the reordering of society along their statist, collectivist ideals. Goldberg will get over her momentary discomfort, and in fact is certainly even now reconstructing the exchange so that she dominates it, and McCardle is recast as the dunce. One thing I will bet a paycheck on, and it’s that she is NOT saying “hey, maybe I was wrong about that…”

I see I have been missing out by not reading Megan McArdle’s blog in the Atlantic. I shall remedy that immediately.

The only person I saw on TV open-carry to a town meeting was a black conservative in Arizona. Joe Biden would have described him as he did Obama, “clean and articulate”.

logic surely does cause BrainPain to libs.

Michelle Goldberg’s facial expression of “Obama-bot Malfunction” – priceless!

    Make my day! It did!

Like my Garmin says every time I don’t go where it tells me to, “Recalculating, recalculating!” The difference is that it will still get me to my destination, while a libtard will simply change the subject or throw in some totally irrelevant piece to throw off the debate.

Such arguments have no meaning for libs/donks/Dems/ statists because they know with absolute certainty that they are right no matter what the evidence says.

MG wasn’t even listening most of the time. She was too busy puffing her lips and adjusting her hair and facial expressions to taste to consider the points. After watching the whole debate, I’m surprised she caught that tiny glimpse of her true self.
She made me want to poke her in the forehead.

Electra, that would’ve only been like a popped balloon. Hot, compressed air escaping, with absolutely no direction. Almost like Congress.

I know, right? I bet a fake wall slam wouldn’t even get their attention. $-)
