Friday Open Thread: Are Christmas “presents” on climate change and healthcare “reform” around the corner?

Going to be a busy day off and on, as it has been throughout the week. I’ll check in when I can.

TGIF! Can you believe Christmas is just a week away? And that Senate Democrat “leaders” are trying to deliver us a “Christmas present” by Christmas Eve on healthcare “reform” — and that our President is trying to deliver us one in Jokenhagen on the “man-made” climate change issue? I feel so special.

Among industrialised countries, the participants were Norway, Russia, Spain, Britain, the US, Denmark, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden and Japan.
Representing small island states were the Maldives and Grenada, with Sudan, Algeria, Ethiopia and Lesotho from Africa. Sudan is also the leader of the G77 group of 130 developed countries, Algeria heads the Africa Group, and Lesotho leads the bloc of Least Developed Countries.”

This whole Dopenhagen thing is nothing more than an attempt by corrupt and/or socialist Third World country leaders at a massive transfer of wealth from America.

The Third-World countries are seeking a $400 billion dollar a year transfer of wealth to perpetuity, mostly expected from America. The vast majority of that money will go the same place the previous trillions of dollars America has given to the Third-World for decades – into the private Swiss bank accounts of corrupt government officials or into the coffers of terrorists organizations.

Got a guy here I showed the Al Gore “opps I miss quoted Dr. Maslowski” article to, and he still doesn’t believe it. LOL He is a very smart man but he believes Everything that comes forth out of Al Gore’s mouth. LOL

Wow, Great site, beautifully designed. All this will end up being challenged in the courts, when we take back the house and Senate the EPA ruling will be challenged in court as well. I have run into smart people who balk at the idea that Gore was misrepresenting facts….i.e. lying. I think some people are under the impression that they can reverse the course of ecologic history by puny human effort! I guess if you think the world is supposed to last forever you must get a bit panicky about the thought that we live in a biodegrading world.

Then there are people like Gore who is definitely using fear and lies to line his pockets…and curry political favor with an ultimate goal to have a global government that rules by using environmental and international law. This is really his motivation. Don’t be fooled.

China also took note of the corruption endemic in Europe’s [cap-and-trade] system

It has long been considered that the US was the target of this massive redistribution of wealth, but for a moment, consider the case that over time the biggest “target” of this scheme turned out to be China … and China wanted no part of it.
The irony of communist China being against “wealth redistribution” is just so far out there.
