Rock on, gal (via Texans For Sarah Palin):
Michelle Malkin has more on Sarah Palin’s speech at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, as well as a reminder of President Obama’s nuclear ignorance (something he accused Palin of yesterday).
Update – 2:37 PM: The Right Scoop has the full video of Palin’s speech.

It was a good speech. Ed Morrissey was concerned that it was mostly red meat, the speech of an activist, not a candidate, but, as I understand SRLC, it’s a gathering of activists*. So, I’m not surprised she would give a speech that’s 80% “fire up the crowd” and 20 % policy, especially since she was the keynoter. And she was spot on when it came to policy, too, especially the interrelation of energy production and our national security.
And did you see the crowd reaction at the end? They almost literally charged the stage for autographs and to shake her hand. Try to tell me Mitt or Huck could get that kind of response.
Palin was on today, crisp and sharp. She and the Kenyan-Moooslim in Chief are now trading barbs regularly….excellent. She’s in his head. Excellent!
Yep, she is getting into Zero’s brain. Morrissey is the typical critical blogger. If he had to stand and deliver that speech he would freak out. If Sarah delivers in getting the senate and congress to the rep she will a great candidate. remember by 2012 Zero will be close to zero in approval.
Hey, when one’s so poor at gamesmanship that one is in over his head with “Go Fish!” (as our Commander-in-Chief obviously is), one hardly has room to accuse a regular citizen of not being “an expert of nuclear affairs.”
I’m becoming more and more disillusioned with Sarah, but from what she expressed about Duh-1″s nuclear policies she’s obviously more in tune with reality than he, what with his unicorn feeding times and all.
Brilliant! Just brilliant!!!

I don’t know about you, but the pressure on Sarah to “misstep” is all the left has as a weapon. With speeches like this she gives them little ammunition. She will only get better! She will only learn more about the “system” and a smart woman like her can really do whatever she wants. If a “community organizing” “part time senator” “full time campaigner” can do it, Heck Yeah, she can do better!!
Sarah rocks, indeed.
