PHOTOS/VIDEOS: Charlotte, NC Tax Day Tea Party

I couldn’t be there but some of the local news nets were all over it with some pretty fair and balanced coverage. Not much yet on crowd estimates – my guesstimate would be about 500 from the one aerial shot. First, video from WCNC:

Photos here.

Video from WBTV (which, of course, includes a quick shot of someone carrying a rebel flag – sigh):

A quickie video from thepundit1 on Twitter, taken at 3 pm – the start of the rally:

I don’t have pictures but we were at the Lone Start Tea Party in Grand Prairie, TX (It’s in the middle of Dallas/Fort Worth). I have heard estimates of 9,000 attending but to us it looked closesr to 15,000 – 20,000. Quick Trip Park holds 13,000(the stands were full) and we had the outfield full of people. We heard that the local Fox station had the Tea Party as the lead story last night. We only saw 1 guy getting thrown out so things went pretty smoothly.
