AQ, er – NY Times reveals info on top secret Petraeus directive

Posted by: ST on May 25, 2010 at 9:30 am

Jawa Report writes this morning about another despicable example of the NYT’s aiding our Islamofascist enemies during a time of war.

Predictably, the left is more concerned about What It All Means and whether or not the (now-once) top secret Petraeus directive, signed in September – a directive which applies to Special Ops forces in the Middle East – “Goes Too Far™”, rather than concerning themselves with little things oh, like, how this latest attempt by the NYT to sabotage war/counterterrorism efforts against radical Islamists could potentially aid in hindering our ability defeat sworn enemies.

Can we question their patriotism yet?

I saw this a few minutes ago, and it totally infuriated me!!!! Treason! Treason I say!! There is no other word for it. We have got to quit allowing this to happen.x(

“The authorized activities could strain relationships with friendly governments like Saudi Arabia or Yemen — which might allow the operations but be loath to acknowledge their cooperation — or incite the anger of hostile nations like Iran and Syria.”

Well, duh! Especially if those hostile nations know about it!

    Let’s keep this secret, ok?

I’m not a lawyer, but as I understand it, a lot of law is based upon precedent. If that is the case, the government would have a hard time prosecuting the NYT for releasing secret documents because the feds haven’t gone after the NYT since before the Pentagon papers.

Bad precedent. Traitorous activity on the part of both the Times and those in charge in the government for decades.

The NYT is to the terrorists what the CIA is to America. The NYT should be shut down and all their editors and reporters should be thrown in prison for treason.
