Melanie is absolutely right. I guess what I really want to know is are the MSM simply “lazy, ignorant and bigoted” (as if that isn’t enough)or are they deliberately lying. What is their motivation? I’m not a professional journalist but am capable of finding the truth where real journalists seem to be unable to. Also, isn’t it interesting that Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and Jodie Evans are top activists with the group that attacked the IDF? It sounds like Obama knew this was going to happen.
Sorry, gang, the Israelis should NOT have boarded a single one of those ships. They should have torpedoed them in the dark of night and left the terrorists to swim ashore on their own. Miss placed compassion and a false and destructive sense of fair play is allowing Muslim terrorists gain victory after victory, and allows them to murder their own children and women with impunity.
These jihadis don’t play by the rules and thank the good Lord neither do the Israelis !

How come the MSM and the Europeans don’t get upset when Hamas and/or Hezbollah lobs rockets into Israel at civilians week after week after week? They only get their dander up when the Israeli’s have decided they’ve had enough of the rocket attack du jour and attack Hamas and/or Hezbollah. Heck, one might be forgiven in thinking the MSM and the Europeans are all anti-Semitic!
And when will the MSM report on the tons of weapons on the boats in the flotilla? I can’t imagine Israeli intelligence being off the mark that much.

If you attack a vessel of unarmed people and you do it in Internation Waters, you are no better than a common pirate.
Furthermore, the commandos clearly had no non-lethal weaponry with them (aka rubber bullets and/or tazers), which shows that they were prepared to kill anyone on board. In North American law, if someone attacks you with a stick defend yourself by shooting them in the head, that is not self defence, that is murder.
Jim, what part of “blockade” do you not understand?
This entire incident was manufactured by the terrorist sympathizers who organized the flotilla. This had no purpose except provoking a confrontation with the Israeli naval forces so they could whine to the usual leftist and anti-Semitic (sorry, that’s redundant) organizations, media, and governments.
Personally, I’m with 2H9 in comment #2 above. If it were up to me, I’d have quietly arranged for the entire Hamas-affiliated convoy to end up at the bottom of the Mediterranean. That would be the end of this type of stunt. Once the cowardly leftists in the US and Europe realize there might actually be real danger to this type of operation, watch how fast they lose interest in the so-called plight of the Palestinians.
