Alert the national MSM: WI woman charged w/ making death threats against GOP senators

Posted by: ST on March 31, 2011 at 7:00 pm

New Tone. Memo. Didn’t get it. Via the Wisconsin State Journal (hat tip: kevinbinversie):

[…] Katherine R. Windels, 26, of Cross Plains faces two felony bomb scare counts and two misdemeanor counts of sending a computer message threatening injury or harm.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Circuit Court, Windels sent threatening emails to 15 Republican senators on March 9 that began: “Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your families will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks.”

She also sent a separate email to Sen. Robert Cowles, R-Green Bay, the same day threatening to put “a nice little bullet in your head” and claiming to have placed several bombs in his house and car, as well as at the state Capitol, the complaint states.

Add this to the long list of left wing New Tone violations that occurred both before the bill passed, and since. I’m sure the national mainstream media will be all over this like a cheap suit any day now. Wall to wall coverage. 24-7 saturation, etc. And did I tell you I’m really Hillary Clinton? ;)

Don’t expect things to get better. After all, the President himself seems to think this is the way to behave.

Wow–they charged her with two whole MISDEMEANORs! What does that get her? A week of no sending death threat emails?

  6. Carlos says:

And this Windels woman is related to the unions…how?

The way the story sounds so far is that she is just some run-of-the-mill fruitcake that got a little overdone at the bakery, and really doesn’t have a dog in the fight at all.

    Inquiring minds want to know…

  7. carlos she is a teacher.

    From the linked article:

Katherine R. Windels, 26, of Cross Plains faces two felony bomb scare counts along with two misdemeanor counts of sending a computer message threatening injury or harm.

Here’s her picture, from her brief biography. It mentions that she worked at a head start.

She lives with her parents. She made the phone call from her parents home. She placed her parents as potential felons with the bomb threat.Clearly, self-introspection is not her strong suit and the pusuit of me and my values trump the rule of law. This leads to what the testing process and criteria the school committee used to hire this person?

This kind of speech isn’t free – it’s criminal – and she should suffer the consequences. It will never show up in Main Stream Media I predict, but it should !

  11. bill glass says:

If I did that, my a$$ would be locked up.

  12. Kate says:

In a related story, shop owners who do not put up the “I support union workers” (or something to that effect) will be boycotted or worse by union members. According to the unions supporters there is no way for a business opt out (remian neutral).

So there is a black/white ethic when it comes to unions?

    Union thugery..what an ethic!

  13. Brenda says:

Katherine R. Windels, of Cross Plains, works as a pre-k teacher and lives with her parents. Her Mom works as a School Psychologist and makes over 90 grand a year. Dad also works for the school system. It’s a sure-thing that Mommy and Daddy are also members of the Teacher’s Union.

  14. Dana says:

I never found the citation Brenda did, but if she winds up a convicted felon, she can kiss that teaching job goodbye. But, not to worry, when she gets out, Seven/Eleven will still be hiring.
