The look on her face is priceless:

I think Sarah should ask Cecilia to come along for a leg during her next bus tour trip. Send Cecilia out and see how many reporters follow her thinking she’s the real Sarah Palin.

  4. Rod Stanton says:

If the GOP want to win (which based on 06 + 08 is doubtful) they have to run Sarah.
Bur tecent history says the GOP has become the anti – conservative party; and would prefer a Dem winning to a conservatrive.

The old Scotch folk saaying ” the proof of the puddin in in the eatin” is plain to see based on 06, 08, + NY23 TGhe GOP would rather see a Dem elected than a conservative. The facts stand the Party of Ronnie has become the Partyh of Ronnie haters remember “Vigalantes”?

On Hannity tonight, Sarah was asked about Trump running as an independent and her answer is sure to trigger lots of aneurisms in the Rovian Progressive camp. She essentially warned the GOP that, considering how they never acknowledged the help of conservatives for last November’s election victories and that they continue to fight conservatives despite being outnumbered by them, that an independent candidate might be the only option for conservatives. She even referred to what happened to the Whigs when became the party that stood for nothing. Like the Whigs who were reduced to mouthing nothing but “anti-Jacksonian” rhetoric, the current GOP cannot articulate any better position than “anyone but Obama”. Well how about fixing our team for once and letting the Dems worry about their candidates?

I don’t think the issue with Sarah is whether or not she is running but whether she runs as a Republican or as an independent. Lincoln destroyed the Whigs by quitting the party and bringing one-third of the party over to the Republican Party. The Whigs never again could field a national candidate. The GOP is at risk of taking the same path. If the corrupt country club would rather go over the cliff than give an inch to conservatives, we don’t have to jump with them. THAT is what Sarah is finally revealing she is about. She might be our generation’s Lincoln. Bush created Obama and it is the corrupt establishment Rove/Bush/Enron monied interests that are forcing conservatives to create a new party.

Suddenly, this has become a very interesting race. The GOP elites may come to regret their role in the Murkowsky victory in Alaska as a write-in candidate backed by the RNC over the Republican who beat her for the party’s nomination. Because, I have no doubt that Sarah is serious about doing something big and important.
