… A pox on both their houses. Let them kill one another until someone gets some sense or none are left. “Kill ’em all-or let them kill each other- and let Allah sort it out”…We need to just stand back and leave it alone. We need to learn from Egypt and Libya.

Our opportune time to intervene on favorable terms has long ago passed, the fruit of “leading from behind”. Leading from behind simply means someone else has to lead by default, in this case the worst of the worst of the jihadists. They did not necessarily create the chaos but are only there to take full advantage of it. Assad is bad enough but what comes after will not be any better if Egypt is any indication. Murbarak was an SOB but he was “our” SOB.

Look for something decisive soon. Once sarin bombs are mixed and readied for use their potency begins to deteriorate, expiring after about 60 days.

….Tehran bought and paid for Syria long ago, and they are not likely to surrender their client state without getting a return on their investment. And then there’s that pesky Vlad the Putin – also a big supporter of the Assad regime.

Am I the only one who noted (like, during the Arab Spring) that the Syrian ‘rebels’ proclamation that, as soon as they took over the government in Damascus, that they would declare war on the Jewish state of Israel?

Ya mean, kinda like what happened in Afghanistan? Except our guvmint had to be careful not to upset the Ruskies, so while they were playing nice with the Ruskies they were arming the rebels through private proxies, including one whose initials were U.B.L. Turns out U.B.L. was laughing his butt off when the Russians gave up ’cause he had all those weapons he could train terrorists with to attack the good ol’ U.S. of A., where he had gotten the weapons to begin with!

With all that said, I’m just real sure Obama/Clinton will find a way to screw it up big time so that, somewhere down the road when they’re no longer in power, Americans will once more be killed because our “leaders” can’t see beyond the tip of the next iceberg, wouldn’t recognize that iceberg as a danger and don’t give a rat’s patootie anyway as long as they can steal from We, the People, with impunity.
