And this is shocking because…??? Hey, they’re Congressmen first, Democrats and Republicans second. Of course they’ll all pull together as one in order to make sure they don’t have to live with the same disaster that gets imposed on the rest of us. Why would anyone even think that they would think of giving up their sweet medical plan that is to die for in exchange for the nightmare that is “Obamacare”?

For the pay and perks of being in Congress there are no Republicans or Democrats, only Congressmen.

OK, so the collective IQ of those involved in this “exemption” (herein defined as “good for thee, not for me”) would drop precipitously from 14 to 11.

I’m fine with that. Might give some other liars, thieves and tax cheats that are currently unemployed a chance to see what kinds of thievery and mischief our elected “leaders” are constantly up to. You know, the “low-info” voter type.

Also, notice that implicit in their reasoning is that the aides, just like them, are inherently deserving of their positions. Kinda like the divine right of royalty.
