I was remiss in not posting this yesterday, but what better way to start off the work week than to read an inspiring piece on the world’s most beloved Reverend as he celebrates his 92nd birthday with family and friends and those who have eagerly read/listened to/watched and enjoyed his faith-filled message for decades:
Got this in email this weekend. I liked it, but what I’d add to it right now is that I’d be thankful for a shoulder rub, as my right shoulder is killing me. Just in time for my first day back at work from a six day vacation. Fun days ahead. 😉
The 1-6 Panthers continued to demonstrate last week why they are one of the worst teams in the NFL by losing to the St. Louis Rams 20-10. They’ll try to rebound here at home today against the Saints, while the Saints (5-3) will look to keep the race for NFC South leader tight (Atlanta and Tampa Bay are at 5-2). The Panthers uphill battle will be made all the tougher by the fact that running back DeAngelo Williams is still out with a sprained left foot.
This is the last official day of my vacation, and I have pledged to spend most of it off the computer. Won’t be offline all day, but will be scarce. 🙂
