Happy New Year!
I’d like to be able to say that I am creative enough to come up with a spectacular year-in-review list but I’m afraid I’m not; we’ll leave that to others. I would like to use this post to talk about things I’m thankful for this year:

Wanted to post a quick note to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. As of this writing, the weather forecasters are still predicting Charlotte will have a white Christmas – the guessing game is to how much now we will get and what time it will actually start. They’re saying around mid-afternoon going into the evening, so at this point it’s just a waiting game. This would be Charlotte’s first white Christmas since 1947.
Will charges be filed in the murder of Frosty the Snowman?

Happy Thanksgiving!
Good morning, y’all! Wanted to take a moment to wish each of you a very happy Thanksigiving. I can’t believe this year is close to being over! Where did the time go? Before you know it, Christmas will be here and then … 2011. If you’re a political junkie like me, you passed a lot of the time this year being cautiously optimistic about the possibility that the GOP would regain control of at least one chamber of Congress – and we did just that … of which I am totally thankful.
