Factchecking Antonia Zerbisias
Yesterday, I blogged about Canadian columnist Antonia Zerbisias’ hate-filled diatribe against those (namely, the right) who dared to reprint the Mohammed cartoons.
Oh indeed – it’s definitely about hate!
… but not the “hate” to which this columnist for the Toronto Star is referring. Antonia Zerbisias writes in her blog today that the recent right wing blogburst – where bloggers across the spectrum (but mostly on the right) posted the ‘offensive’ Mohammed cartoons and linked up to other bloggers who did the same – was nothing more than a ‘hate’ campaign conducted by right wing bloggers who ‘hate’ Muslims.
Iran paper to publish Holocaust ‘cartoons’
In apparent retaliation for the publishing and reprinting of the infamous Mohammed cartoons by various papers overseas, an Iranian paper has announced that it is going to hold a contest on cartoons on the Holocaust. Via Australia’s NEWS.com.au:
